Pre-Paid Legal Services has Identity Theft Benefits Provided By Kroll Background America
Kroll Background America Inc., a subsidiary of Kroll Inc. (NASDAQ: KROL), and Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc. (NYSE: PPD), this a joint marketing agreement that will allows Pre-Paid to market Kroll's identity theft program through Pre-Paid's more that 300,000 independent sales associates. By adding Pre-Paid's new Identity Theft Shield to existing family memberships, Pre-Paid members have toll free access to the identity theft specialists at Kroll. This new benefit is immediately available in approximately 20 + states and will be offered in additional states pending regulatory approval, as an added benefit to the Pre-Paid Legal Family plan membership.

Identity Theft Shield enables members to:


Benchmark current and previous credit history through credit report access
Access and evaluate credit scores
Discover if they are or have been an identity theft victim
Monitor subsequent transactions and receive alerts of possible identity fraud
Have their credit restored to its pre-identity theft standing
The identity theft program also offers members reimbursement benefits for expenses related to identity theft, such as legal, loss of wage and miscellaneous, up to $25,000.
